1965 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible, this is a real Eldorado convertible that has been restored to excellent cosmeticall and mechanical condition. It was restored to resemble the famous Cadillac used in the movie Scar Face with Al Pachino. I know that in the movie a 63 Cadillac was used but the prior owner wanted a 65. There is over $30,000 invested into this car.
The exterior of the car has been painted to a high quality standard, all trim, bumpers and accessories were removed prior to repainting the car. The car has no rust issues prior or present, the sides are very straight, all jams align very nice including the top and windows, the bumpers and other misc chrome items have been re plated and have a very high luster to them, all stainless is complete and also in this fine condition from being re polished, New rubber was also installed for trunk and doors. The new white top fits tight and operated fast and smooth. Floors and trunk are also free from any rust issues.
The interior was done to the tiger theme that made the car famous, this includes the complete interior seats, dash and door panels, New carpet and finished trunk with spare tire, the car has all of the factory options that you would find in an Eldorado, power windows including power wing vent, power seat, power top, all working excellent, tilt and telescoping steering wheel, and the steering wheel has been covered in a leather wrap, factory AC that is working but will need a new charge, $550 was just spent and it will go back for that charge before the delivery to its new owner. If the tiger interior is not for you I have quote of $3500 to put either white or tan leather in the car, this includes front and rear seat, door panels and matching color dash, I was told it would take 3 weeks. The carpets are in good condition, seats were re stuffed and are now very firm and not broken down.
The original 429 motor has been rebuilt and runs very smooth and cool, it has an upgraded edlebrock carburetor, the motor compartment is very tidy, all hoses and belts are in good condition, the automatic transmission shifts very smooth, suspension and brakes are also in good working order. It just received new radial tires, oil service, plugs, wires, cap and rotor.
