This is one of only 36 R models ever produced. There are less than 25 known to exist today.

Shelby American built this performance Mustang to compete and win the competitive “B Production” class with XKE Jaguars & Corvettes. The R model Mustangs were tough to beat.

This car has been completely restored without ruining the unique racing heritage that it carries so proudly.

The vehicle sale includes a log book of racing history, including a 3rd place finish at Daytona.
