West Coast Classics are proud to present an absolutely exceptional and beautiful example of this virtually rust free and original San Jose, California built 1967 Ford Mustang 289 V8 2+2 Fastback with reportedly only two southern California owners since new and owned for over 15 years by only its second owner!
In 1967, Ford restyled the Mustang for the first time. The fresh look remains as appealing to Mustang enthusiasts today as it did then. The familiar '67 side sculpturing with twin simulated air scoops, unique larger wide mouth grille cavity and recessed rear tail-light board makes this year's model instantly recognizable! This particular model also sports a Deluxe after-market wood steering wheel and its original optional all chrome 14" styled steel wheels.
This 'San Jose', California built car has it's original factory 'Dark Moss Green' color paint with original 'Black Standard Bucket Seats' interior and its original 289 2 barrel V8 engine, C4 automatic transmission, power disc brakes and this particular model had factory options including:
Closed Crankcase Emission System;
C-4 Select-Shift Cruise-O-Matic transmission;
Power Steering;
AM Radio (please note now replaced with an after-market CD player);
Tinted Glass;
Deluxe Seat Belts
The car has a very good older repaint in its factory correct 'Dark Moss Green' color paint with only a couple of very minor rust bubbles beginning to show on the passenger side fender (see photos below) and still boasts its correct original specification color 'Black Bucket Seats' interior. The trunk, floor boards and all the typically rust prone areas are all completely solid and rust free - an obviously always mainly garaged example!
This particular car must be seen and driven to be fully appreciated - a seriously striking example which turns heads wherever she goes! The engine is extremely strong and responsive with excellent oil pressure and no noticeable oil leaks and which sounds absolutely magnificent, the transmission shifts smoothly through the gears and the engine temperature always remains cool.
This must be one of the very nicest and virtually rust free (apart from the very minor bubbling mentioned) and beautifully kept examples available anywhere of this increasingly collectible and desirable of Mustangs - a 1967 2+2 Fastback in turn-key ready daily driving, daily head-turning, and daily appreciating condition!
