1963 Impala SS 409 4-speed 2-door hardtop in lovely Autumn Gold with an Ermine White top and black bucket seat interior. Matching numbers 409 car previously owned by heavyweight boxing champ Michael Moorer. The original matching numbers QC code engine has been rebuilt and upgraded with the factory Winters 425 horse aluminum dual-quad intake (casting #3884881), dual 600cfm Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetors, an aggressive Lamar-Walden solid lifter cam, Hedman headers, and dual free-flow exhaust. The heads were ported & polished and 10.5:1 compression pistons fitted. Fires right up, runs perfectly on premium pump gas, and there are no issues; no smoke, no leaks, no noises. Has loads of bottom end torque, a super powerful midrange, and pulls hard to 6000 RPM. The 4-speed transmission shifts perfectly and the stock-appearing Hurst Competition Plus pencil shifter with the correct small ping-pong shifter ball; snicks through the gears with no play & perfect feel. The transmission was just rebuilt and the stock appearing shifter attached to a new Hurst Competition Plus shifter assembly.  A new clutch & throwout bearing is installed. The positraction 3.73 rearend provides a nice balance between powerful acceleration and relaxed cruising. Drives very nicely and is the strongest 409 I have driven, easily a low 12 second car.
Very nice bucket seat interior with the factory center console. The front seats have been recovered and a new full carpet kit installed. Very nice interior door panels and excellent original dash with the factory 7000 RPM tachometer. No cracks in the original steering wheel. Factory AM radio still in place. Excellent chrome center console.
Excellent body with all original panels and no dents, no dings, no waves. Excellent paint done in modern base/clear acrylic urethane and buffed to a smooth glossy shine. The cowl tag paint code is 120 (Autumn Gold) with a contrasting Ermine White roof; a very attractive color combination. Excellent chrome bumpers front & rear. Excellent front grille & tail light panel. Very nice brightwork and aluminum trim. Excellent weatherstripping & window whiskers. All glass is excellent and all windows operate smoothly. Original steel wheels with correct Tri-Bar SS hubcaps, fitted with P215-60-14 whitewall radials. All four headlights are T3s. Just professionally polished, buffed waxed, and turnkey ready for cruises and shows. Just tuned and mechanically gone through; runs & drives perfectly. Very nice car ...and the poster of Michael Moore is included.
