1958 MG-A in superb Colorado Red with a tan convertible top, tan leather interior, and chrome wire wheels. Fully restored (frame-off; every nut & bolt rebuild) car with only 593 break-in miles and full photographic documentation of the extensive process ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL CAR; ONE OF THE NICEST IN EXISTENCE. Every aspect of this car has been rebuilt, restored, or replaced and the underside is as spotless as the top. The 1500cc 4-cylinder engine has been rebuilt to stock specs and is still fitted with the correct dual side draft SU carbs. Starts immediately and settles into a smooth idle with a deep but subdued idle. Pulls nicely through the rev range and cruises beautifully at 60-65 mph with 95-100 as top speed. No mechanical issues; no smoke, no leaks, no noises; and runs perfectly on pump gas. The 4-speed manual transmission shifts perfectly and there is no grinding between gears or whine from the gear box. Rack & pinion steering and large drums brakes for safe handling. Goes straight down the road with no shake, no shimmy, no squeaks. Very nice driving car.  

The interior has been also totally redone with tan leather seats and wool carpeting. The instruments (Jaeger 7000 RPM tachometer, 120 mph speedometer, Oil Pressure/Water Temperature, Fuel Level) are all brand new and the dash was also resprayed when the instruments & interior was out. All new wool carpeting and carpeted floor mats. Brand new canvas side curtains. Brand new correct banjo steering wheel. Seat belts. Factory optional heater & defroster. The factory count-down turn signal timer works properly. MINT condition interior.

Excellent all-steel body with no body filler and no patch panels. Starting with a solid original car, the frame was removed, sand blasted, the body media blasted, and all factory original panels were hand fitted. The photographs of the restoration process shows the integrity of the original car & frame. Lovely Colorado Red paint done in modern acrylic urethane and the underside done in gloss chassis black. All bright work (bumpers, grille, windshield frame, & emblems are brand new with show-quality chrome. Brand new tan canvas convertible top, brand new tan canvas tonneau cover, brand new side curtains. Air horns. Wind wings & tinted acrylic sun visors. Lucas fog lights. Brand new 15" chrome wire wheels fitted with 165-15 Firestone radials. The trunk contains a brand new chrome wire-wheel spare, the jack assembly, and the complete factory tool kit. Just professionally polished, detailed, and turnkey ready for Best-of-Show trophies and relaxed summer rides. Only 593 miles since completion; this car is perfect; easily the nicest MGA on the planet.   

Note: This car came to me from a friend who owned a vintage car museum in King Of Prussia, Pennsylvania. It is far beyond the usual "nice" $25,000 MGA and is for the person wanting the absolute best. This is a no-excuses, better-than-new car.
