1961 Lotus

Chassis number SB1188 is a lovely example of an early Lotus Seven Series 2. It is the result of an exhaustive nut and bolt restoration by Xtra Special Sevens of Exeter and is featured extensively on their website. The restoration work was carried out to a very high standard and incorporated specialist modifications for competition and fast road use, including a Burton Engineering Stage 3 1760cc engine, rocket box, competition clutch, Quaife Powerlock differential, competition pads, adjustable shock absorbers, removable steering wheel, bolt in rear cage and aero screens. There is also a full screen which will be sold with the car.

Only 117 miles have been travelled since this work was carried out, including competing in one Curborough Sprint in October 2012, where it easily won its class. Complete with an Owner's Manual and history file and ready to enjoy.
