1991 Jaguar XJS V12 Convertible

This stunning Jaguar XJS V12 Convertible has covered just 47,000 miles from new, has been known to us for the past ten years and known to a previous owner and one of our long standing customers from new, The car has come to us in outstanding condition and has been subject of a programme of re-commissioning work prior to being put on the market. The car presents superbly with an excellent body with superb paintwork, retains beautiful original upholstery, excellent power hood and comes with original tools and Jaguar accessories. The car is mechanically first class and is freshly serviced and ready to go.

This XJS V12 was supplied new by Dutton Forshaws in the Darlington area and was owned by a local Company Director. The Jaguar was used kept garaged from new and several years after Company ownership, the car was bought by one of our regular customers, a retired electrical engineer in Sadberge, Darlington. Having known the car from new, he always planned to own this car and this XJS was the start of a run of top quality Jaguars he was to own. He owned the car for many years throughout the 1990's and early 2000's and eventually part exchanged the car with us.  A true Jaguar enthusiast, he went on to buy a Jaguar XK150, Jaguar E-Type Series One FHC and most recently a Jaguar MKII from us.

Having taken the car in part exchange, we soon sold the car to one of our regular customers in Masham, North Yorkshire who eventually sold the car to his son who used the car during summer months. Unfortunatley due to other commitments, he has not had time to use the Jaguar over the past three years so ahead of being put on the market, the car has had over £7,500 spent on re-comissioning and some cosmetic improvements. The XJS has been treated to new front and rear brake calipers, pads, brake pipes and flexi hoses. It has had a new ABS sensor, rear shock absorbers, injector seal rings, fuel injector, exhaust gaskets, new exhaust section, steering rack repair and a full service. As a result of the recent work, the XJS drives perfectly and is offered in excellent mechanical order. 

The Jaguar XJS is a fast appreciating car and low mileage cars are becoming highly desirable. This car has the benefit of low ownership, low mileage and is presented in lovely condition throughout. The car is mechanically first class, all electrics work and the car does not suffer from the prone corosion issues often associated with this model. The car is a true delight and is impressive in every respect.
