1971 Morris

The Morris Minor van was produced form 1953 until 1972. They differed from the saloon cars by having a separate chassis, telescopic rear dampers and lowed rear axle ratios to cope with heavier loads.

This vehicle is a 1971 6CWT Minor van in Aqua blue. It is a late model “Morris” badges van with a key operated steering lock. This van had a complete nut and bolt re-build a few years ago that has been used and maintained regularly since restoration and is in A1 order. The attention to detail is superb - the body and paint finish are excellent, the load area and engine bay are immaculate and the interior trim is as new including an upgrade to a custom made fitted carpet set. The wheels and bumper strips are finished in the correct gun-metal silver and the weather strips and seals are new. On the road this beautiful Minor van drives perfectly, the brakes are strong, the gearbox is precise and quiet with no whines or crunches and the 1098cc engine runs beautifully. 

A radio is fitted and twin 12v sockets are fitted. Also included are the original boxed tools and larger wing mirrors.
