Jaguar XK 3.4 litre engine  fitted with  triple  2 inch SU  carburettors and choke unit. Revised carburettor needles.Polished  cam covers.Electronic ignition upgrade. Electric fan, Oil catch tank. Upgraded fuel pump. Isolator switch Engine fan and electric fan.

Engine   built  to fast road specification.  Rebuilt starter,  1.2 3 type  distributor. Twin pipe stainless steel exhaust system fitted.  Vitron oil filter system.  Hi-torque starter motor.  Mallory dual point distributor.

Tremec  5 speed  CJ-5  gearbox.  Salisbury  4HA differential.

Jaguar Cars .closed  box section.  Lockheed disc brakes,  4 pot Coopercraft front brakes. Power steering  fitted as  special upgrade. Rack and pinion steering.  Steel bodywork . Paint and panels in excellent order.  Bodywork  painted in Jaguar Carman red. 

Biscuit leather  with new carpets throughout.3 point retractable seat belts.

Heater, fan,  Seat belts. Tool kit, jack and copper faced hammer.  Original SE ”S”  specification twin  Lucas spotlights  fitted.

Mileage  26,000. This figure is genuine and recorded.  Serviced  annually and just fully checked over again  by our workshop staff.  Car has been  extensively repaired, upgraded   and  maintained by  Ken Tolley and  Alistair Scott over their many  years of ownership. New MOT. 

The XK150 is my favourite XK model. I actively buy good examples for stock and resale.  This car drives superbly and reflects  many years of careful ownership. Huge history file of work done.  Excellent value as a long term investment. 

The first owner, K.K,Horn of Ipswich was a customer of Botwoods (Ipswich) Ltd who were  the Jaguar Main dealers. I served  my apprenticeship with Botwoods from 1959-1965….that’s 55 years ago!

David Crotty purchased the car  from Horn in 1969 and owned it until 1973 when he sold it to Ken Tolley.

Tolley had the car extensively worked on and repaired some  bodywork. I have an email from him confirming the very low mileage  of 23,000 at that time and he states that between 1973 and 2006 the car only travelled 90 miles due to his business commitments.

The car was  sold in June 2008 to Alistair Scott,  a good friend of mine in Christchurch, New Zealand.

Scott used the XK150  for touring the island with his wife Helen. Knowing of my historic interest in the car, he offered the car to me to  come back home to UK.

We have replaced the carpets, fitted power steering and changed the wing mirrors for door mirrors.

The car benefits hugely from the sensible  upgrading that has been done and will be a wonderful long distance touring car for rallies  both home and overseas.

Car is serviced and ready to be enjoyed on  some new adventures.

I have an original green  early  registration document and much  of the mechanical history in my files.

The XK150 Coupe is my favourite Jaguar add I have owned and sold many over the past 15 years.

Good XK 150 ‘S’ are getting harder to find in  excellent  condition.  Only  59 RHD XK150 “S” models were made by Jaguar Cars Ltd , so this is also a very rare car .

Here is a  genuine very low mileage 4 owner car which  you can trust  and drive with great confidence.
