1962 MG

Officially launched in 1n Frankfurt in 1955, the MGA wore a gently curvaceous body in startling contrast from the TF it replaced. Initially power came from a B series 4 cylinder engine of 1489cc inherited from the Magnette saloon.The Mk 2 arrived in 1961 with a 90bhp , 1622 cc engine and subtle design modifications.

This particular car has been lovingly cared for by its current owner over the last 8 years and indeed has never been allowed out in the rain. The Old English White paintwork is virtually unmarked and is a great credit to its restorer and former owner. Chrome is excellent and incluudes a useful boot rack. The cockpit is in black leather, piped white and the lightly used hood is good. The Vendor describes the sidescreens as old but servicable and there is a tonneau.
