1965 Lotus

Lotus Super 7, 1965. This is a real Super 7, not a copy or Caterham. Lotus vin SB 2077. This Seven probably came with a Ford 1500 non-crossflow engine. Sometime in the distant past a Lotus Ford Twin-Cam found its way into the engine compartment. Block casting is 120E 6015 which dates it as a MK I made from 1962 to 1967. A rare find in such original condition down to the unmodified front suspension, handbrake, Cosworth header, period steering wheel and original speedometer. The car could use some cosmetic attention and a few items. The engine is great with 200 pounds compression straight through and the Ford full synchro gearbox works nicely.
