1969 A12 Dodge Super Bee Coronet for sale

Exotic Classics is proud to present an absolutely gorgeous 1969 A12 Dodge Super Bee Coronet finished in Bahama Yellow with a black vinyl top and black vinyl interior. With approximately 200 miles on a full nut and bolt restoration, this Super Bee is ready to compete at the finest shows. The prices on the A12 Super Bees are steadily rising and this investment grade example will give its next owner exposure to the rising MOPAR market. This car is currently registered in Galens Registry and is one of the finest on the market.

According to Galens registry report, this particular Super Bee was built on May 12th, 1969 (+ or 14 days) and shipped to Midway Dodge in St. Paul, Minnesota. It was equipped with the highly desirable A12 package, which consisted of the 440 CID 6 BBL. (6-pack) engine. Additional options include the Torqueflite Transmission, Special order axle, 3-speed windshield wipers, Max-cooling package, Fan-torque drive, Tachometer w/ clock, Police handling package, Power steering,  Black vinyl roof, Bumblebee stripe and special order G70X15 red streak tires.

The Dodge Super Bee was launched in 1968 as a branch of the Coronet 440 line. It wasnt until February of 1969 when the A12 option was born, hence the 1969 . This was Mopars perfect combination of relatively affordable horsepower with an inexpensive car. The A12 option replaced the standard 383 with a 440 built for performance and durability. With 390 horsepower and 490 lbs-ft of torque, there was plenty of power to go around. In addition to the A12 option, a S15 Police Package consisted of larger diameter torsion bars, tube shocks, upper and lower control arms and a .94-inch anti-roll bar. Dodge also installed Hemi-rated leaf springs to reduce wheel hop. It should be noted that approximately half of the remaining Six Packs are still numbers matching. This says a lot about the durability and quality of these engines.

This truly remarkable restored A12 Super Bee comes with the original Build Sheet, Original Wheels and tires, a reproduction Window Sticker, Galen Govier VIN and Equipment Verification Report and restoration photos. The next owner will certainly be proud to own and show this wonderful piece of Muscle Car history.
