New to our Fairfield showroom is this amazing 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air 2 Door Hardtop with two-tone blue & white exterior paint and a matching blue interior. Under the hood you’ll find a 350 CI V-8 engine with a 4-speed automatic transmission and this cruiser has been fully modernized under the hood for some serious performance. It comes equipped with 4 wheel power disc brakes, power windows/steering, premium wheels and too many other features to completely list.

Completely Restored/Modernized by Current Owner in 1990’s

The current owner of this 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air Hardtop purchased it back in 1992 and had it completely restored to show quality standards both inside and out. That included sandblasting and painting the frame, installing a complete 1994 Camaro IROC-Z drivetrain, adding a custom exhaust and hundreds of hours of customizations throughout. At the completion of the project, this 1956 Bel Air was essentially a brand new classic all over again with additions like a late model GM rear end, four wheel power disc brakes and lots of polished accessories under the hood. Also, it has an A/C compressor mounted but not fully installed if the next owner would prefer an A/C vehicle.

Additionally, this 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air Hardtop is a yellow plate vehicle that was built in Oakland and remained in California its entire lifetime. With nice exterior paint and sensational curb appeal, this beauty still looks great and the performance will down-right surprise you.
