This genuine Lotus Cortina Mk. I was subject to a full restoration some 15 years ago and has covered approximately 9000 miles since. The quality of restoration work was clearly exceptional as the car is still in superb condition today. The white paintwork is virtually unmarked as is the interior. The fastidious owner has maintained the Lotus with a ‘no expense spared’ attitude and the engine has recently benefitted from a rebuild and a new clutch has also been fitted, over seven thousand pounds has been spent in the last three years.
