Chryslers Masterpiece and flagship Imperial with the newly designed Forward Look first went on sale October 21, 1955. These fully loaded low production cars were for a very exclusive group who wanted the best and was Chryslers way of positioning themselves to go head-to-head with Lincoln and Cadillac.

The Hundred Million Dollar Look as dubbed by Chrysler. This luxury car is loaded with all the creature comforts one has come to expect in todays cars as well as some raw horsepower pumping out of the HEMI Engine. The Chrysler FirePower naturally aspirated V8 is 354ci, 280hp and has 380 lb. ft. of torque. Mated to this is the 2 speed automatic transmission with New Push Button gear selector.

There were only 2,094 Imperials produced this year and this particular car is heavily optioned with Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Windows, Power Seats, Factory Air Conditioning, Town & Country AM Radio and ultra rare Hi-Fi Record Player.

This particular example was the recipient of a no expense spared concours quality rotisserie restoration of one of the purist and most original examples available. The car was sold new in Long Beach, California and lived a pampered life in wine country Sonoma, California. The build has been fully documented and early pictures show what amazing condition this Imperial was in upon arrival. The car still retained all of the original paint and our team was the first to take this car apart since leaving the factory. During the process we documented all of the inspection and assembly markings. Finished in Cloud White with a Turquoise roof and Turquoise Eagle fabric with White Leather upholstery just as it was born. The fabric was original new old stock material that was sourced which is in impeccable condition and noticeable by the crisp edges of the Eagle. Every detail was tended to including when finishing the underside of the car. A color scan was performed in addition to working with the Chrysler Museum.
