Classic BMW car, a 1968 "2002" for sale

 It has a 2002 engine from that year in it (the 2.0L not the 1.8L). But any 2002 engine would fit in it and any engine from a later 3 series can be made to fit in it.

That said, the engine is probably not the weak point. The real problem is that the brake system is a very odd one, unlike any other 2002s (or 1600s). It really needs to be totally replaced with something else, which is very customized work and involves changing things like the rear differential. It also has a very odd transmission, unique to that year.

The body needs lots of work but is sound.

What the car really needs is someone who is very good as doing custom things or someone who needs parts.
