To measure is to knowSometimes we see banners (which are paid for!) on websites which have probably only 100 visitors per day…To compare: possibly your own private website will attract 10 - 50 visitors per day. It is amazing that even bigger firms are falling into that trap.There is but only one explanation for this: advertisers don’t have a clue what a website is worth…The fact that one advertiser follows the other –trusting that the former one did his homework- makes it happen.Unfortunate... 10/01/2012

The China International Rally of Classic Cars… the masters of disaster.When I pointed to the wrong place of the word “international ”, the answer of the organizers was that this was “already decided so”. Very strange for such an exclusive event. Apparently Murphy’s law is also applicable in china. Advertising & doing business on the internet…I noticed that some advertisers get the whole cake… while others simply can’t sell a single wheel… Yet the reason is obvious. The first group knows how internet works and how to sell on it… the second group still thinks of internet as advertising in a newspaper like they used to do in the past three decades…So I see ads like: “Mercedes 220S, first owner, car in good condition”&hel lip;Of course this doesn’t work.
