1974 Land Rover

Motodrome are pleased to offer this very smart-looking 1974 example of the ever-popular Land Rover Series III, this one an 88in Diesel Station Wagon,  that’s been professionally repainted in Bronze Green with white roof.

An original Station Wagon and diesel rather than a conversion, its high specification includes the following:

Overdrive and freewheel front hubs

Parabolic springs

Full Safari roof with alpine lights and opening rear windows

Military front bumper

Twin spare wheels

Rear step, quarter bumpers and mudflaps

Towpack

Inside there are 3 Defender-type front seats and  twin rear bench seats with belts making it a 7 seater, and chequerplate load area and doorcards.

Previously supplied by ourselves, and with an odometer reading of 35000 miles, it comes with a sheaf of history and old MOT’s. Currently MOT’d to November 2013 (no advisories) but we’re happy to provide a new MOT. Also taxed to end December 2013 too.

I’ve owned and driven several Series III models  over the years, and this is one of  the nicest and smartest examples l’ve seen for some while. On test it perfomed really well, and its full of character.
