1989 Ferrari

In 1984 Ferrari shocked the world with its newest contribution to the supercar world, the Ferrari Testarossa. The body was designed by Pininfarina and the platform was a nearly complete redesign of the earlier flagship Berlinetta Boxer. The engine was the same 4.9 liter (with the exception of now being 48 valve) 12 cylinder mated to a 5 speed manual transaxle. The chassis was longer and wider and made use of this for improving the suspension and handling capability, allowing the Testarossa to use the 390 HP 12 cylinder to its full potential and actually making the larger car faster than its predecessor. The production was very successful lasting over 12 years but in the low number of only just south of 10,000 units ever produced.

Here we have one of those Testarossa’s offered for sale. It was originally imported and is euro spec.  It is very low miles with only 15,641 miles (25, 173 km) showing on the odometer. The car has been kept in virtually new condition as is indicated by its low mileage. It has been trimmed in a beige and burgundy leather which is very complimentary to its original Russo Corsa paint.
