"Introduced in 1976, the 911 Carrera 3.0 featured wider rear fenders than the previous 2.7, as well as a range of optional extras. They were also equipped with the gearbox and the carter in aluminium, instead of the previous magnesium. The engine was basically the 3.0 Turbo engine, without the turbo and with a K-Jetronic CIS injection. Few were made, especially the Targa, which makes them the targets of a great demand on the part of the classic car collectors"
