1961 Bentley

A good, sound, correct example, finished in Shell Grey over Tudor Grey, with good Blue/Grey leather interior, nicely patinated & with no rips or tears, excellent woodwork, good headlining, etc. The chrome work is in very nice condition, and although there are some marks and blemishes on the paintwork, more importantly, both body & chassis are good & sound, with none of the structural issues that these cars can suffer from. For example, the wheel arch edges are sharp,and there are no signs of body deterioration at all, and the underside is very impressive. Running nicely, and driving really well, suggesting that the 81,000 indicated miles may be the total from new, although we cannot substantiate this. We have invoices, MoT certificates, etc, going back to 1985, at which point the mileage was showing about 28,500. Some of the recent invoices show various work, including a gearbox overhaul, attention to brakes, etc. A good, ready to use car, which would benefit from a gentle cosmetic uplift, at the same time retaining the original, unmolested feel. Drive it away!  MoT'd until April 2018.
